To promote and assist tourists visiting Sadiya, Sadiya College have been taking an active part to promote local tourists destinations of Sadiya sub-division. The Department of Assamese and Department of Commerce has taken up the initiative to boost local tourism and the college have decided to set up a tourist information centre as well. The Tourist Information centre,(TIC) of Sadiya College will be a provider of information to tourists planning a trip to Sadiya & Arunachal Pradesh.

In the pages of history, Sadiya holds a rich place in culture, religion & development. But the great earthquake of 1950 had left the town in ruins. Many parts of old Sadiya are now in the heart of the Brahmaputra. The rich historical significance of the region along with its serene natural landscapes and proximity to the beautiful Arunachal Pradesh attracts inquisitive minds, historians, archeologists and nature lovers.

Tourism in this region is largely unorganised and underdeveloped.Therefore, Sadiya College Yuva tourism Club have taken this initiative to provide the basic tour information to the potential tourists. Sadiya was famous for its four religious places, known as Saari Xaal Guhani, famous for its sacrificial worship . Some of these sites are declared as places of archeological importance and are preserved by Indian archeological society. Sadiya is also the hub of river & village tourism with magnificent landscapes & pristine rivers. Tourists can also visit the famous tourism destinations of Arunachal Pradesh like Anini, Mayudia & Pasighat, by halting in Sadiya.
